Diversity Surveys: Uploading Timekeeper Emails and Locations (for Vendors and Law Firms)

This article is for vendors and law firms.

If your firm has received a request to submit timekeeper diversity information to a client via Brightflag, your firm's Vendor Admin will need to upload the email address and country code for each timekeeper. If you are located in the USA, you will receive an email with a link to a diversity survey. To see our privacy policy, click here

Vendor Admins will receive an email notification that diversity has been switched on for a particular client, as well as an in-app reminder to upload timekeeper details. Once an email address and location (country code) is uploaded for each timekeeper, they will receive an email invitation to participate in diversity for the client. To see our privacy policy, click here.

Note: You need to use each Timekeeper's work email as they need to submit it individually.

How to Upload Timekeeper Details

  1. Navigate to Menu > Timekeepers.

  2. You will see a blue button in the bottom right corner of your screen if diversity surveys have been requested by your client. Click Learn More.

  3. Click Download Excel Template.

  4. Fill out the template in Excel for all timekeepers that have already billed work, or likely will bill work, in the current year.
    • In the field Location, ensure you use the 3-letter country code exactly how it appears here. This is the country in which the timekeeper operates e.g. USA.
    • In the field Email, enter the email address of each timekeeper.

  5. After completing the template, click Next, Choose File and Upload.

  6. Any errors in your file will be presented on-screen. Fix these errors in your excel template and re-upload until no errors are present.

From there, timekeepers with a USA country code will receive an email with a link to a diversity survey. They will have the option to opt out of the survey at their own discretion. The email is sent once a day, so if the timekeepers haven't received the email yet, check back with them the following day.
