On the Pending Timekeepers tab, Brightflag displays two fields to help reviewers understand how a requested rate compares to the previously approved rate.

Field

Description

% Change

The percentage difference between the last approved rate and the requested rate.

Annualized % Change

The forecasted percentage change year-over-year, based on the effective date of the requested rate.

Why the Fields May Be Blank

The % Change or Annualized % Change fields may appear blank if Brightflag cannot calculate a valid comparison.

This can occur if:

Reason

Explanation

No previously approved rate exists

Brightflag requires a previously approved rate to calculate the percentage change.

The effective date is earlier than or equal to the last approved rate

The system cannot calculate a rate change if the requested rate does not occur after the previous rate.

The requested rate is the same as the last approved rate

If the rate amount has not changed, there is no percentage difference to calculate.
