As an Admin, you can manually approve or reject invoices in Brightflag. However, before doing so, the invoice must be in a Pending status.
🔹 If the invoice is already Approved or Rejected, you must first change its status to Pending by following this guide:

Moving an Invoice from Pending to Approved or Rejected
Once the invoice status is Pending, follow these steps to Approve or Reject it:
1. Access the Workflow Edit Mode
- Click the workflow edit pen located on the workflow tile in the top left.
2. Add Yourself as a Reviewer
- In the workflow settings, add yourself as a reviewer.
3. Remove Other Reviewers
- Click the 🗑️ (bin icon) next to the names of any other reviewers to remove them.
4. Approve or Reject the Invoice
- Once you are the only remaining reviewer, an "Approve" & "Reject" button will appear in the top right of the screen.
- Click the appropriate button based on your decision.
Important Considerations When Rejecting an Invoice
⚠️ Rejection Notes:
When rejecting an invoice, ensure you provide a clear and detailed rejection reason in the Rejection Box.
💡 Why?
- Law firms need sufficient details to rectify the issue and resubmit the invoice correctly.
- A vague rejection reason may cause unnecessary delays in processing.
