On the Pending Timekeepers tab, Brightflag displays two fields to help reviewers understand how a requested rate compares to the previously approved rate.
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| % Change | The percentage difference between the last approved rate and the requested rate. |
| Annualized % Change | The forecasted percentage change year-over-year, based on the effective date of the requested rate. |
Why the Fields May Be Blank
The % Change or Annualized % Change fields may appear blank if Brightflag cannot calculate a valid comparison.
This can occur if:
| Reason | Explanation |
|---|---|
| No previously approved rate exists | Brightflag requires a previously approved rate to calculate the percentage change. |
| The effective date is earlier than or equal to the last approved rate | The system cannot calculate a rate change if the requested rate does not occur after the previous rate. |
| The requested rate is the same as the last approved rate | If the rate amount has not changed, there is no percentage difference to calculate. |
