Deleting a matter is not recommended and can only be done by reaching out to Brightflag Support. In most cases, it is better to close the matter rather than delete it.
🔹 When Should a Matter Be Deleted?
A matter should only be deleted in exceptional cases, such as:
❌ Accidentally creating a duplicate matter.
❌ The matter was created in error and contains no relevant data.
📌 Important: Deleting a matter will permanently remove all associated data, including invoices.
🔹 Recommended Alternative: Closing a Matter
Instead of deleting a matter, it is best practice to close it if it is no longer active.
