Overview
You cannot delete a vendor from Brightflag. Because the list of vendors in Brightflag is shared across all clients, vendor records must remain in the system for transparency and data integrity.
However, if you no longer work with a particular vendor or vendor user, you can deactivate them. This involves disabling all associated vendor users, which prevents access while retaining historical data.
Steps to Deactivate a Vendor Account
Navigate to Vendor Management
-
Go to Vendors > Vendor Management in Brightflag.
-
Locate the vendor you want to deactivate.
Disable All Vendor Users
-
Click on the Users tab.
-
Tick the Disabled checkbox for each user account associated with the vendor.
🚨 Important Note: Deactivating all users prevents the vendor from accessing Brightflag but does not remove any of their data.
