How to Edit Approve/Reject Actions on AP Routes

Need to change the email addresses or settings for an Approve/Reject Action in your AP route? Here's how to safely edit the action without losing your current setup.


🧾 Overview

To edit an existing Approve/Reject Action, you'll need to delete and re-add it.

If you’re using the "Send Accounts Approval Email (Fixed)" option and want to keep your current email recipients, make sure to copy them first.


✨ Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Delete the Existing Action

  • Locate the Approve/Reject action you want to edit.

  • Click the 🗑️ trashcan icon on the right-hand side of the line to delete the action.


2. ➕ Re-Add the Action

  • Click the + Add Action button.

  • From the dropdown, select the action that you want to re-add

  • Click the Add Action button at the top right-hand corner of the screen to apply your changes.

⚠️ Don't forget to save! If you close the screen or navigate away without clicking Save, your changes won’t be applied.
