A HAR file records what happens in the background when a page loads. Support may ask for this file to help diagnose login or loading issues.
Steps to Generate a HAR File
1. Open the page with the issue
Go to the Brightflag page where the problem occurs (for example, the login page).
2. Open Developer Tools
Press Ctrl + Shift + I (or F12) to open Developer Tools.
3. Go to the Network tab
Click Network in the top menu of the Developer Tools panel.
4. Reproduce the issue
Try the action again.
Edge will automatically record what happens.
5. Export the HAR file
After the issue appears:
Click the downward arrow icon at the top of the Network tab (labeled Export HAR)
Save the file to your computer.
6. Send it to Support
Attach the HAR file to your Support ticket or email reply.
