Is this feature available to all customers?
No, this is part of the additional Brightflag Matter Management module. You can discuss this with your Customer Success Manager for more information.
What happens if internal matter lead or vendor matter lead do not reply to the email?
If they do not reply then that is their decision. They will receive the automated request for an update the next week/month/quarter.
Would a person who needs to provide an update be reminded to post an update or do they only get one notification per update period?
Currently they get one notification per update period. There are no scheduled reminders. The customer users can select an ad hoc request option in the Matter Updates tab to send a reminder request for that day.
Can a user edit or delete a matter update?
Currently no. There is no current ability for a user to edit or delete a matter update they have posted.
In the email sent to Vendor Matter Leads is that sent everyday with a new list of Matters to Update or can the customer determine to send one digest email a week with all the emails due that week?
On the matter update schedule the Admin who sets it up can pick the day they want the reminder to go out. Any matter participant can request one adhoc on the matter updates tab. There is no ability to store up a weeks worth of updates and then send them up in one digest.
What is the character limit for a matter update?
The user can type in up to 8,500 characters per matter update.
Can a customer user receive notifications whenever a matter is updated?
Currently no.
