Adding and Updating Legal Entities in Brightflag (Admin Role)

📌 How to Add a New Legal Entity

Step Action
1️⃣ Navigate to Legal Entities Go to Menu > Admin Settings > Legal Entities.
2️⃣ Click "Add Entity" Click the "Add Entity" button in the top-right corner of the screen.
3️⃣ Enter Entity Details - Enter the Full Legal Name of the entity.
- Add the Entity Address (if applicable).
- Input the Tax ID (if relevant).
4️⃣ Save & Apply Changes The new Legal Entity will now be available for selection when assigning matters. It will also be included in financial reporting and can be added as a tile in the Spend Overview Dashboard.

🔄 How to Update an Existing Legal Entity Name

Step Action
1️⃣ Navigate to Legal Entities Go to Menu > Admin Settings > Legal Entities.
2️⃣ Locate the Entity Use the search function or scroll to find the entity you need to update.
3️⃣ Edit the Entity Name Click into the entity and update the Full Legal Name field. If necessary, adjust the Entity Address or Tax ID.
4️⃣ Save the Changes Click the tick icon on each updated field to apply the changes.
