Creating & Viewing Cost Center Budgets

πŸ“Œ Who Can Set & View Cost Center Budgets?

  • Admin and Overview users can create and view all budgets.
  • Other users can be granted access to the Cost Center Budgets page.
  • πŸ“’ Important: If enabled, these users will see ALL cost center budgets (not just those for their department).

πŸ“‹ Steps to Set a Cost Center Budget

1️⃣ Navigate to the Cost Center Budgets Page

  • Go to Menu > Financial Management > Cost Center Budgets.

2️⃣ Click Add Budget

  • Select "Add Budget" to create a new budget.

3️⃣ Enter Budget Details

  • Budget Name – Choose a clear name for easy reference.
  • Budget Amount – Define the budget for the fiscal year.

4️⃣ Choose a Budget Type

  • Select one of the following:
    βœ” Overall Budget
    βœ” Department Budget
    βœ” Entity Budget
    βœ” Vendor Budget
    βœ” Matter Group Budget

5️⃣ Choose a Budget Value

  • Enter the specific value allocation for this budget.

6️⃣ Select a Fiscal Year

  • Specify the fiscal year for the budget allocation.

7️⃣ Finalize & Save

  • Click Add Budget to save the new cost center budget.
