π Who Can Set & View Cost Center Budgets?
- Admin and Overview users can create and view all budgets.
- Other users can be granted access to the Cost Center Budgets page.
- π’ Important: If enabled, these users will see ALL cost center budgets (not just those for their department).
π To enable additional user access, contact your Brightflag Customer Success Manager.
π Steps to Set a Cost Center Budget
1οΈβ£ Navigate to the Cost Center Budgets Page
- Go to Menu > Financial Management > Cost Center Budgets.
2οΈβ£ Click Add Budget
- Select "Add Budget" to create a new budget.
3οΈβ£ Enter Budget Details
- Budget Name β Choose a clear name for easy reference.
- Budget Amount β Define the budget for the fiscal year.
4οΈβ£ Choose a Budget Type
- Select one of the following:
β Overall Budget
β Department Budget
β Entity Budget
β Vendor Budget
β Matter Group Budget
5οΈβ£ Choose a Budget Value
- Enter the specific value allocation for this budget.
6οΈβ£ Select a Fiscal Year
- Specify the fiscal year for the budget allocation.
7οΈβ£ Finalize & Save
- Click Add Budget to save the new cost center budget.
π You can create multiple budgetsβstarting with an overall budget before defining more specific budgets for better financial tracking.
