If you have not yet added a vendor, see:
How to Add a Vendor in Brightflag
What Is the Firm Name?
The Firm Name is the vendor’s official name from Brightflag’s Global Vendor List.
The Global Vendor List is Brightflag’s master list of law firms and vendors used across the platform.
Important
The Firm Name cannot be changed
It is fixed and linked to the global list
Vendor users cannot request edits to it
You will typically only see the Firm Name in the Vendor Management section.
If your vendor’s legal name has changed, share this article with them:

What Is the Custom Vendor Name?
The Custom Vendor Name is your organization’s version of the vendor’s name.
You can:
Edit it at any time
Align it with your internal naming conventions
Match it to your AP system
This is the name that appears throughout Brightflag, including:
Invoice views
Invoice summaries
AP exports
Matter views
Reporting
The Law Firm Portal (what the vendor sees when logged in)
In most areas of the platform, the Custom Vendor Name is what is displayed — not the Firm Name.
