Overview
Brightflag's Quick Invoice Approval feature enables non-admin users to efficiently review and approve invoices directly from the Attorney Dashboard. This eliminates the need to navigate to separate pages for each invoice, streamlining the approval process.
Once this feature is enabled in your account configuration, the option will appear on the Invoices tab of the Attorney Dashboard.
Feature Highlights
✔ Quick Approval – Approve invoices directly from the Attorney Dashboard without opening each invoice.
✔ Multi-Approval Option – Select and approve multiple invoices at once.
✔ Dashboard Integration – The dashboard displays only invoices pending review by the user, including final stage reviewer assignments.
✔ Email Notifications – Standard invoice approval notifications will still be sent unless otherwise noted.
✅ Once approved, invoices disappear from the dashboard list and their status updates in the Invoice Detail Page and backend database.
How to Use Quick Invoice Approval
1️⃣ Navigate to the Attorney Dashboard
Go to Menu > Dashboard > Invoices Tab.
2️⃣ Select Invoices for Approval
Check the boxes beside the invoices you wish to approve.
3️⃣ Approve Invoices
Click Approve. The invoices will be instantly approved and removed from the dashboard list.
📌 If you require a more detailed review, click the Invoice Number to open the Invoice Detail Page.
Updating Invoices

The dashboard updates instantly.

Approved invoices will no longer appear on the dashboard.

Their status will be reflected correctly on the Invoice Detail Page.
Awaiting Details Rules
If the Block Final Invoice Approval if No Allocations are Set rule is enabled and an invoice has no allocations:

It will not appear on the Attorney Dashboard for approval.

Its status updates to Awaiting Details.

The invoice moves to the Blocked Invoices Dashboard for Admin users to review.
⚠️ Note: The same rule applies on the Detail Lines Dashboard when the approver is the final reviewer.
Email Notifications & AP Routes

Legal Vendor Uploads: The legal vendor user’s email address is populated.

Client Uploads: Client user’s email address is populated.

These are triggered automatically once a non-admin user approves an invoice as the final reviewer.
Not Supported

❌ Send Accounts Approval Email (Manual) is not supported in Quick Invoice Approval. If required, please use the Invoice Detail Page.
