How to Disable and Re-Enable Law Firm User Access in Brightflag

If a law firm user no longer requires access to Brightflag, you can disable their account through Vendor Management. If access is needed again, you can re-enable the account at any time.


🔹 Steps to Disable or Re-Enable a Law Firm User

1️⃣ Go to: Menu > Vendors > Vendor Management.

2️⃣ Use the search bar or filters to find the relevant law firm.

3️⃣ Click on the "Users" tab to view all users associated with the law firm.

4️⃣ From the Users Interface:

  • Disable a user by selecting the checkbox.
  • Re-enable a user by unchecking the disabled box.

5️⃣ Click "Update" to confirm the changes.


📌 Important Notes

  • Disabling a user account will also stop all automated notifications to that user, including:

    • Accruals notifications
    • Invoice approval/rejection emails
  • If a user account is locked, you can unlock it by:

    • Disabling the account, then re-enabling it.
