Why Was My Timekeeper Flagged as "Not Approved" on a LEDES Invoice?

🔍 Why This Happens

When submitting a LEDES invoice, Brightflag checks that the Timekeeper ID in the LEDES file matches the ID stored in Brightflag.

If there’s a mismatch—even if the timekeeper is approved—the system may fail to recognize the record and trigger a "New Timekeeper" flag.

To verify if a LEDES file was uploaded:

  • Go to the Invoice page in Brightflag.

  • Click the Download button to access the uploaded files.

  • If a .LEDES file is listed, the invoice was submitted via LEDES.
